The project began with an uneasy journey into the depths of Ukraine. 400 km east of Odessa, next to the controversial border with Crimea, Geniczesk is located - ultimately the place. A ten-hour journey, which in itself was a moving experience, has moved us into a new - supposedly still not discovered - world. A world where nature still prevails over culture, and at the same time culture fiercely fights for the primacy of power. Geniczesk, which brings to the times of gray communism, and at the same time a colorful present. Where new does not meet so much with the old, which coexists, creating a new, unexplored "cosmos". This ambiguity has started the LUNA project. We were able to experience and document a new "cosmos" - our "cosmos". We found ourselves on another "planet", a dangerous place, previously seen only through telescopes of mass media. We planned to show our cosmos exactly at the time of the first man landing on the moon - 21/07/2019, at 20:17 universal time. Just like Neil Armstrong 50 years ago, he first touched the surface of the moon, so we walked for the first time around the new pink world - our planet. And just as they did then, we now - thanks to new technologies - can transmit our discoveries to the world. In the LUNA project, we use virtual space, which is for us what in 1969 was for astronauts a TV camera and Hasselblad camera.
